Full Description
Ditched and banked linear features on the west side of Hambledon Hill, Child Okeford, are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (ALK 1924; EA 2018). The features are of uncertain origin, possibly field boundaries and trackways of later prehistoric or medieval date, although they could alternatively be, or include geological hollows in the hillslope. The features were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
