A probable post medieval field boundary on the south side of Hambledon Hill is visible as a ditched linear earthwork on a 1970s aerial photograph (RAF 1970). The feature was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. It is no longer visible on current lidar imagery.
