Summary

The potential site of a Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a low earthwork mound on aerial photographs on Plush Hill, Piddletrenthide. The sub-circular feature is 8m across and lies in the vicinity of three other round barrows (MDO1951, MDO1954 and MDO1955). It is marked on the OS Mastemap and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Full Description

The potential site of a Bronze Age round barrow is visible as a low earthwork mound on aerial photographs on Plush Hill, Piddletrenthide. The sub-circular feature is 8m across and lies in the vicinity of three other round barrows (MDO1951, MDO1954 and MDO1955). It is marked on the OS Mastemap and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (OS 1974).
