Summary

A series of bank and ditched field boundaries are visible as earthworks and cropmarks on lidar imagery and aerial photographs on the north and northwest-facing slopes of Plush Hill above St John's Church extending to Higher Hill, Piddletrenthide. They are cut by the trackways described in MDO49787 and are considered to be of post medieval or earlier (some potentially prehistoric) date. They were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Full Description

A series of bank and ditched field boundaries are visible as earthworks and cropmarks on lidar imagery and aerial photographs on the north and northwest-facing slopes of Plush Hill above St John's Church extending to Higher Hill, Piddletrenthide. They are cut by the trackways described in MDO49787 and are considered to be of post medieval or earlier (some potentially prehistoric) date.
