Full Description
Linear banked features to the east of Ash, Stourpaine, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1947; EA 2018). The features run counter to the contours on a low north facing slope and are probably field boundaries of later prehistoric date, part of a wider later prehistoric field system in this area recorded under MDO4818. They were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
