Summary

The potential site of a plough-levelled round barrow is visible as a low earthwork mound, 4m across, with remnants of an external enclosing ditch. The feature is visible on lidar imagery on Higher Hill to the west of the cross dyke described in MDO1942, it was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

The potential site of a plough-levelled round barrow is visible as a low earthwork mound, 4m across, with remnants of an external enclosing ditch. The feature is visible on lidar imagery on Higher Hill to the west of the cross dyke described in MDO1942, it was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
