Summary

Linear banked and ditched features in fields on the east side of Okeford Fitzpaine are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features are considered to be field boundaries and possibly trackways of medieval to post medieval date. They were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Linear banked and ditched features in fields on the east side of Okeford Fitzpaine are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1947; RAF 1947; EA 2018). The features are considered to be field boundaries and possibly trackways of medieval to post medieval date. They were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
