Summary

A long linear bank and ditched linear is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on the ridge between Lyscombe Hill and Nettlecombe Tout. The feature follows the line of the parish boundary of Cheselbourne with Piddletrenthide and Melcombe Horsey and is considered likely to be of medieval origin. It was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

A long linear bank and ditched linear is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on the ridge between Lyscombe Hill and Nettlecombe Tout. The feature follows the line of the parish boundary of Cheselbourne with Piddletrenthide and Melcombe Horsey and is considered likely to be of medieval origin.
