Full Description
The potential site of a prehistoric settlement is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on the ridge between Bowdens Hill and Hog Hill, Melcombe Horsey. The curvilinear banked features are situated between the two cross dykes described in MDO1690 and MDO1691 and are possibly an extension of the settlement described in MDO1687. The features were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (Environment Agency 2023, OS 1888)
