Full Description
A sub-square feature with associated earthworks is marked on the OS 1st edition map on the southern side of Ball Hill, Piddletrenthide. It is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and appears to be the site of two conjoined banked enclosures 18m across. The features are situated immediately to the north of the probably chalk pit described in MDO498385 and may be of contemporary date, they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project. (OS 1888, Enviroment Agency 2023).
