A ditched linear earthwork is visible in a field on the south side of Child Okeford on 1940s aerial photographs. The feature encloses the south side of a historic field and is considered to be a field boundary or drainage ditch of potentially medieval to post medieval origin. It was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Full Description

A ditched linear earthwork is visible in a field on the south side of Child Okeford on 1940s aerial photographs (RAF 1947). The feature encloses the south side of a historic field and is considered to be a field boundary or drainage ditch of potentially medieval to post medieval origin. It was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

The feature is now below a 20th century housing development.
