Full Description
A possible post medieval water channel is visible as a curving ditched and banked earthwork to the north of Child Okeford on Environment Agency lidar imagery (EA 2018). The feature issues from the east side of a road opposite a spring recorded on the OS Epoch 1 c1880 map (OS c1880) and curves towards an area of post medieval drainage system to the southeast (MDO49658). It was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
