Monument record MDO49723 - Post medieval water channel, Child Okeford

A possible post medieval water channel is visible as a curving ditched and banked earthwork to the north of Child Okeford on Environment Agency lidar imagery. The feature issues from the east side of a road opposite a spring recorded on the OS Epoch 1 c1880 map and curves towards an area of post medieval drainage system to the southeast (MDO49658). It was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
