Summary

Extensive remains of an Iron Age or Romano British coaxial field system and possible settlement are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery within Watcombe Wood. The features cover an area of over 16 hectares and continue to the west into the field system described in MDO49717. The site was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
