Summary

A D-shaped ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 2023 on the upper west-facing slopes of East Hill, Piddletrenthide. The enclosure is 37m by 40m across and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project; whilst undated, it may be of Iron Age or Roman date and is situated within the field system described in MDO1976.

A D-shaped ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 2023 on the upper west-facing slopes of East Hill, Piddletrenthide. The enclosure is 37m by 40m across and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project; whilst undated, it may be of Iron Age or Roman date and is situated within the field system described in MDO1976.
