Monument record MDO49706 - Iron Age or Roman field system, Cheselbourne

Extensive remains of an Iron Age or Romano British field system are visible as soilmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery. The features cover an area of over 55 hectares to the north of Drake's Lane and form part of a wider field system described in MDO48869, MDO49646 and MDO1911; they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
