Full Description
An area of possible post medieval extraction is visible as low pocked earthworks on the north side of Hod Hill, Stourpaine, on Environment Agency lidar imagery (EA 2018). The features cover an area of approximately 585m long by 62m deep. The extent of possible excavation was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
