A possible post medieval chalk pit is visible as an earthwork to the east of Lazerton Farm, Stourpaine, on aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (NMR 1971; EA 2018). The feature was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
