Monument record MDO49686 - Possible post medieval to 20th century chalk pit, Lazerton Farm, Stourpaine

A possible post medieval or early 20th century chalk pit is visible as an earthwork to the east of Lazerton Farm, Stourpaine, on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery. The feature is recorded as an earthwork on the OS Epoch a5 map of 1962. It was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
