Monument record MDO49681 - Possible post medieval extractive pits, Okeford Fitzpaine

Two possible post medieval extractive pits are visible as an earthwork to the southeast of Okeford Fitzpaine on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features are located either side of a historic field boundary and a spring and may be associated with some post medieval drainage features (MDO49682). They were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
