Two possible post medieval extractive pits are visible as an earthwork to the southeast of Okeford Fitzpaine on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1947; EA 2018). The features are located either side of a historic field boundary and a spring and may be associated with some post medieval drainage features (MDO49682).
