Banked field boundaries are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the east of Higher Thurnwood Farm, Mappowder. They are considered likely to be of medieval or post medieval date and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (Environment Agency 2023)
