Full Description
A possible post medieval extractive pit or quarry is visible as an earthwork to the southeast of St Andrew's Church, Okeford Fitzpaine, on Environment Agency lidar imagery (EA 2018). The feature comprises a 50m by 70m hollow carved out by the roadside, opposite the Cookwell Brook. It was digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
