Full Description
The fragmentary remains of a medieval strip field system with associated ridge and furrow cultivation are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery on the steep northeast slope to the south of Lyscombe Farm, Cheselbourne. The features overlie an earlier field system described in MDO49651 and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (Environment Agency 2021)
