Full Description
The fragmentary remains of a medieval field system with associated ridge and furrow cultivation ridges are visible as low earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery on the north and west facing slopes of Nettlecombe Tout, Piddletrenthide. The features cover an area of over 31 hectares and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (RAF 1947, Environment Agency 2021)
