Full Description
An area of post medieval drainage ditches and drainage systems is visible as earthworks along part of the River Stour to the southeast of Shillingstone on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1947; RAF 1947; RAF 1947; RAF 1947; EA 2018). The features were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. Not all features remain visible on current lidar imagery, suggesting a degree of loss since the 1940s.
