Full Description
A series of banked field boundaries are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery on the east-facing slopes of the Plush valley, Piddletrenthide. The features are overlain by medieval cultivation strip fields (see MDO49633) and are therefore considered likely to be of prehistoric (Iron Age or Roman) date; they were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
