An area of post medieval drainage system is visible as earthworks along a section of the River Stour to the southwest of Child Okeford on Environment Agency lidar imagery (EA 2018). The features include a possible pond that appears to pre-date a historic field boundary. They were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
