Full Description
The remains of an extensive medieval or post medieval drainage system are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in fields to the west of Alton Dairy Farm, Alton Pancras. The system of perpendicular banks and ditches covers an area of over 5 hectares; it was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (Environment Agency 2021)
