The remains of an extensive medieval or post medieval drainage system are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in fields to the east of Bookham Lane, Buckland Newton. The system of perpendicular ditches covers an area of over 10 hectares; it was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

The remains of an extensive medieval or post medieval drainage system are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in fields to the east of Bookham Lane, Buckland Newton.
