Areas of probable ridge and furrow cultivation are visible as earthworks to the southwest of Okeford Fitzpaine on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1947; EA 2018). The features were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. Not all the features are still visible on lidar, suggesting some degree of loss since the 1940s.
