Summary

Areas of probable ridge and furrow cultivation are visible as earthworks to the southwest of Okeford Fitzpaine on Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features underlie a modern field layout and are very truncated by this, but are still faintly visible as broad banked ridges below this. They were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Areas of probable ridge and furrow cultivation are visible as earthworks to the southwest of Okeford Fitzpaine on Environment Agency lidar imagery (EA 2018). The features underlie a modern field layout and are very truncated by this, but are still faintly visible as broad banked ridges below this. They were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
