Full Description
An oval mound is visible as soilmarks on aerial photographs on the lower slopes of Ball Hill, Piddletrenthide. It is 12.5m by 5.5m across and is situated within a medieval strip field system. The mound is of uncertain date and function, it is potentially the site of a pillow mound. The feature was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (NMR 2007)
