An oval mound is visible as soilmarks on aerial photographs on the lower slopes of Ball Hill, Piddletrenthide. It is 12.5m by 5.5m across and is situated within a medieval strip field system. The mound is of uncertain date and function, it is potentially the site of a pillow mound. The feature was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

An oval mound is visible as soilmarks on aerial photographs on the lower slopes of Ball Hill, Piddletrenthide. It is 12.5m by 5.5m across and is situated within a medieval strip field system.
