Full Description
Two small sub-circular mounds are visible low earthworks on lidar imagery on the west facing slopes of East Hill above the River Piddle, Piddletrenthide. They both lie on the 150m contour and are situated within a prehistoric field system; they may be Bronze Age barrows predating the system. The features are 5-6m across and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. (Environment Agency 2021)
