Summary

Broad banked linear features are visible as earthworks to the east of Shillingstone on Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features might be field boundaries of medieval origin. At their south end they may be cut by a post medieval trackway. The features were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Broad banked linear features are visible as earthworks to the east of Shillingstone on Environment Agency lidar imagery (EA 2018). The features might be field boundaries of medieval origin. At their south end they may be cut by a post medieval trackway. The features were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
