Areas of ridged cultivation marks divided by a narrow linear ditched field boundary are visible as earthworks to the east of Shillingstone on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features might be of post medieval origin and were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Areas of ridged cultivation marks divided by a narrow linear ditched field boundary are visible as earthworks to the east of Shillingstone on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1947; EA 2018). The features might be of post medieval origin and were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
