Full Description
An area of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation is visible as linear banked earthworks to the north of Bere Marsh Farm, Shillingstone, on 1940s aerial photographs (RAF 1947). The features are no longer visible on Environment Agency lidar imagery (EA 2018). They were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
