Full Description
Areas of ridge and furrow cultivation are visible as earthworks to the northwest of Child Okeford on aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1947; RAF 1947; OS 1975; EA 2018). The features might be part of an area of medieval field system and were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project. Not all features are still visible on lidar imagery, indicating a degree of loss in recent years.
