Summary

Two hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on the lower east-facing slopes of Ball Hill, Piddletrenthide. They are considered likely to be post medieval extraction pits (possibly for chalk) and are associated extensive spoil heaps; the features were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project.

Two hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on the lower east-facing slopes of Ball Hill, Piddletrenthide.
