Summary
A small cluster of hollows is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on the steep north facing slope just off the brow of Nettlecombe Tout, Melcombe Horsey. The features are considered likely to be the result of medieval or post medieval extraction (possibly for chalk) and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project.

A small cluster of hollows is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on the steep north facing slope just off the brow of Nettlecombe Tout, Melcombe Horsey. The features are considered likely to be the result of medieval or post medieval extraction (possibly for chalk) and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project.
