Monument record MDO49495 - Post medieval draiange sytem, Child Okeford

Linear banked and ditched features are visible as earthworks to the northeast of Child Okeford on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features are considered to form part of a post medieval drainage system. They were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Linear banked and ditched features are visible as earthworks to the northeast of Child Okeford on 1940s aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (RAF 1947; EA 2018). The features are considered to form part of a post medieval drainage system. Not all the features are still visible on lidar but several of the ditched linear features can still be faintly seen. The features were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
