Full Description
A scatter of small hollows is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in the vicinity of Summer House Plantation, Melcombe Horsey. The features are considered likely to be the result of post medieval extraction (possibly for chalk) and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project. (Environment Agency 2021 (1)).
