An area of narrow ridged cultivation marks are visible as earthworks to the west of Ranston, Iwerne Courtney or Shroton, on aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (OS 1982; EA 2018). They might be cultivation remains of post medieval date and were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
