They might be cultivation remains of post medieval date and were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

An area of narrow ridged cultivation marks are visible as earthworks to the west of Ranston, Iwerne Courtney or Shroton, on aerial photographs and Environment Agency lidar imagery (OS 1982; EA 2018). They might be cultivation remains of post medieval date and were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
