Full Description
A scatter of eight small hollows (along with additional general disturbance) are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south east of Nettlecombe Farm, Cheselbourne. The features are considered likely to be the result of post medieval extraction (possibly for chalk) and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project. (Environment Agency 2021, NMR 2001).
