Full Description
Three hollows are is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery cutting into the boundaries of a medieval field system to the west of Little Elias Copse, Alton Pancras. They are considered likely to be post medieval extraction pits (possibly for chalk) and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project. (Environment Agency 2021 (1)).
