They might be the remains of ridge and furrow cultivation and could be medieval in origin. They were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.

Several parallel banked features are visible as earthworks to the southwest of Ranston, Iwerne Courtney or Shroton, on Environment Agency lidar imagery (EA 2018). They might be the remains of ridge and furrow cultivation and could be medieval in origin. They were digitally plotted during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM project.
