Full Description
A wide scatter of hollows are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in fields to the north and west of Slovens Corner Coppice, Piddletrenthide. They are considered likely to be post medieval extraction pits (possibly for chalk) and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project. (OS 1974 (1), Environment Agency 2021 (2)).
