Full Description
A small round hollow is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery within the small coppice in the field immediately to the west of New Barn Farm, Piddletrenthide. It is considered likely to be a post medieval extraction pit (possibly for chalk) and was digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project. (Environment Agency 2021 (1)).
