Full Description
Several hollows are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery on Home Eweleaze Down to the northwest and north of Dole's Ash Farmhouse, Piddletrenthide. They are considered likely to be post medieval extraction pits (possibly for chalk) and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project. (OS 1974 (1), Environment Agency 2021 (2)).
