Full Description
Seven hollows ranging from 10m to 20m across, are scattered across a modern field to the north east of Piddletrenthide village. The features are considered likely to be post medieval extraction pits (possibly for chalk) and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project. (Environment Agency 2021 (1)).
