Full Description
Three small hollows, between 8m and 12m across, are scattered across a modern field to the east of Alton Mill, Alton Pancras parish. The features are considered likely to be post medieval extraction pits (possibly for chalk) and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project. (Environment Agency 2021 (1)).
