Full Description
A group of extractive hollows and more generalised disturbance is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery towards the eastern end of Burnt House Bottom, Alton Pancras. The features are considered likely to be post medieval extraction pits (possibly for chalk) and were digitally recorded during the Mid Dorset Downs AIM Project. (Environment Agency 2021 (1)).
